GrumpyFishDev ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our apps — including ReviseIt, PinIt Map, SpendIt Tracker, and SpinIt Wheel — handle your information.

Data Collection

Our apps are designed with privacy at their core. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data you create within our apps — including study sets, locations, expenses, and wheel configurations — is stored locally on your device and, if you choose, synced via your personal iCloud account.

Personal Information

We do not collect any personally identifiable information. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
  • Location data (unless explicitly used as a feature, such as in PinIt Map, where data remains on your device)
  • Device identifiers or IP addresses
  • Usage or behavioural analytics

Third-Party Services

Our apps do not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not share your data with any third parties.

If you choose to sync your data, this is handled entirely by Apple's iCloud service and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage & Security

All app data is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. If iCloud sync is enabled, your data is encrypted and transmitted securely via Apple's iCloud infrastructure. We have no access to your iCloud data.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete your data at any time by removing content within the app or by deleting the app from your device. Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

Our apps do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because our apps do not collect personal data from any user, they are safe for use by children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to address it.

Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access any personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability

As we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, these rights are effectively fulfilled by default. All your data is under your control on your own device.
